IISMA MP Mentor

Syahpati Alfatarah, or Patal in short, is a third-year university student majoring in International Relations, concentrating in Diplomacy studies. He is an awardee of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2021 to the University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America. Last spring semester, he spent his semester at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland to specifically study the EU Foreign Policy and Diplomacy and continue doing an internship at the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bucharest, Romania, accredited to the Republic of Moldova, as an Economic Affairs internee over the last summer. During his free time, he loves to cook delicious foods and do visual creative works.

Ashley Santoso goes by Ashley. She is a third-year university student majoring in Social Psychology. She is an awardee of Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2021 to the University of Pennsylvania in the United States of America. She focuses her work on social welfare and gender issues. Her most recent article on urban mobility through a gendered lens has been published by the Asia Business Council with the Blavatnik School of Government, University of Oxford. Ashley loves spending her free time watching arthouse films and thrifting for clothes!

Vincentius Christopher Calvin, often called Calvin, is a senior studying Business Mathematics, concentrating in Actuarial Mathematics. He is one of the awardees of the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2021 going to the University of Pennsylvania in the United States. Growing up with interests in numbers and logical thinking, he is now working in a data science and software engineering-related field. Other than that, staying at home during the pandemic has brought Calvin a new hobby of playing chess and trying cooking recipes on YouTube!
